- F650 GS Twin: 17/41
- F700 GS: 17/42
- F800 GS: 16/42
The F650 GS twin is geared taller than the F800, better for touring and street riding, plus increased fuel economy is achieved through lower engine RPMs at any given speed. If you are riding off road however, and could use a bit more low-end power, installing our sprockets can allow you to lower your gearing like the F800 GS.
Conversely, the F800 GS has a very low gearing, perfect for off road but if you are finding that most of your riding is on the pavement, you may benefit from a taller gearing ratio. This will reduce the engine speed necessary to move you down the road.
Either way, replacing the front (counter) sprocket will result in the most change but for optimal results in either direction, changing both front and rear sprockets is recommended.
