This set consists of two resistant protectors that offer reliable protection for the neuralgic points on the engine on the right and left: These are the exposed covers for the clutch and alternator. The two rather complex original BMW engine covers are at risk in the event of an unfortunate falling over or a crash. Damage is already annoying, but breakage or sliding can, under certain circumstances, prevent further riding and even cause capital damage to the high-performance engine of the 1000 series BMWs. The engine protection covers, made of precision-fit, impact-resistant, lightweight special plastic, are additionally reinforced with a structurally integrated, deep-drawn stainless steel insert to protect the BMW. They reduce the risk of expensive secondary damage.
The engine protection covers are characterised by their integrated sporty design, which reliably protects and at the same time emphasises the design of the housing covers. The covers can be fitted in just a few minutes with the accompanying mounting kit.

The Wunderlich developers have designed the complete protectors in such a way that mechanical loads, force and torque peaks are evenly distributed and dissipated over the entire component structure. Additional damping is provided by the elastomer moulded elements made of a high-temperature resistant material on the inside. They have both a supporting and a protecting effect and are dimensioned to absorb shocks with regard to their Shore hardness.
The high-quality design and function of the covers are rounded off by an integrated, deep-drawn stainless steel insert. It serves as a resistant wear protection in case of emergency to prevent the covers from dragging through and the inevitable mechanical damage or oil loss associated with this. In this way, the covers reduce the risk of expensive secondary damage. In many cases, they allow unhindered driving after a mishap.
