Function and Product Features

• Exclusively developed for BMW R 1300 GS / R 1300 GS Adventure
• Based on extensive experience with the BMW GS series and Boxer engines
• This product is designed as an upgrade to form a complete system when combined with the Akrapovic Slip-On Line (Titanium)
• This header is made of high-grade titanium with a carbon heat shield
• It is exclusively intended for use on closed race tracks
• Enhances performance and reduces weight
• The pipes have a larger diameter than the standard system, and removing the catalytic converter allows for improved exhaust flow
• The pre-silencer provides a unique auditory experience, delivering a deep racing sound from the Boxer engine
• This upgrade achieves a weight reduction of 54.84% (3.4 kg) compared to the stock system
• When paired with the Slip-On Line (Titanium), it increases power by 3.1 kW (4.2 hp) at 7,800 rpm and torque by 5.9 Nm at 3,000 rpm, as tested on the Akrapovic dyno using a stock BMW R 1300 GS
• Installation follows a plug-and-play principle, although re-mapping is required
• The optional header is also compatible with the standard Akrapovic (first fit) / BMW Motorrad accessory silencer by Akrapovic
• Installing the Optional Header (Titanium) invalidates the ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium)
• When installing the Optional Header on Euro5+ motorcycles (2 lambda sensors), the engine control light will appear after a deviation in the parameters of the standard catalytic converter is detected
• This product does not comply with emission standards for road use
