Three style options for customising your number plate setup
Perfectly matched to the rear conversion, three number plate holder variants are available:

• Wunderlich number plate holder SWING (#38981-702) – when combined with the PURE STRAIGHT rear conversion and tail cover (#44131-002), indicators can be mounted to the SWING holder. Please order indicator mount (#38983-102) separately.
• LOW (#38981-602) – also in combination with the tail cover (#44131-002), allowing a clear view of the rear tyre.
• Classic tail section with CNC-machined number plate holder (#44131-102)
• The conversion is also compatible with the original number plate holder.

Despite – or perhaps because of – its clean, minimalist lines, it makes a strong and expressive finish at the rear. Its distinctive shape and the consistently integrated Wunderlich design bring the tail line to a perfect and harmonious close.

Ideal for rear-end customising: Choose from three stylistically unique number plate holders – a finely milled and centrally positioned classic Wunderlich plate holder, or the SWING and LOW variants that allow a clear view of the rear tyre. Factory-painted to match the original San Remo metallic colour scheme.

The tail section and luggage rack are built with robust proportions. Installation is simple: both are mounted using two auxiliary brackets on existing mounting points on the BMW R 12 nineT’s rear frame.
