Motorcycles are often designed so that – if an engine protection bar is installed – the footrest and protection bar touch down almost simultaneously at a lean angle that does not compromise tyre grip. It is important to be aware that various factors, such as the load on the bike or when passing through a dip or pothole, can restrict the lean angle.

This Wunderlich ULTIMATE Engine Protection Bar is specifically designed for Adventure Riding.

It not only reliably protects the cylinders and valve covers but also the two lambda sensors. The all-around protection concept increases passive safety and enhances the joy of riding. In the event of a fall or tip-over, the acting forces are optimally distributed across the protection bar structure to the resilient mounting points, avoiding force and moment peaks and effectively reducing material stress.

The protection bar structure is made from 25-millimeter precision stainless steel tube. The tube segments are formed on CNC tube bending machines and then cleanly welded. Visually, the protection bar integrates into the design of the motorcycle, adding to its distinctive appearance. Our ULTIMATE engine protection bar is designed to be maintenance-friendly: The oil drain plug and the oil filter cartridge are fully accessible for oil changes without having to remove the engine protection bar.
