Taken seriously the original gearshift mechanism on any BMW is technically immature as gearlever and foot give opposite-moving arcs. So at the touching point of lever to foot friction is created at the right gear rubber, which can be felt as notchy, stiff gear change ability. So we decided to use a gear rubber supported by rollers, which gives a rather exact and easier operation. Scope of supply: Bolting made from stainless (supported on Polyamid roll) inclusive roll. Modification of existing gear lever, no new item supplied.
