Our urban G/S

We have a comprehensive product portfolio for the all-terrain version of the R nineT, the Urban G/S, and its sister bikes from the "Edition 40 Years G/S". In creating this, we did not just limit ourselves to optics. An adjustable paralever strut is also available, as well as an adjustable Wunderlich suspension with which a suspension lift of up to 70 mm is possible. Protection bar and engine protection for the Boxer, manifold protection and coolant as well as various protection pads and protectors guard the urban G/S against bad damage in case of a fall.

We have paid particularly close attention to the seat. It is newly built with a new shell and a new core, is 20 mm higher than the original and is delivered in black, brown or in the original orange colour. In connection with a handlebar riser and various ergonomic supplements, it guarantees an extremely relaxed seating position and greatly increases the cruising range of the G/S.

Our idea for the rear fender is particularly good. The white protection perfectly fits the style of the R nineT Enduro and reliably preserves the G/S from the dust stirred up by the rear wheel.

Number plate, corresponding luggage solutions, hand guards and further sensible accessories for the Urban G/S round out our offer and make the Urban G/S the ideal R nineT Enduro and thus a worthy successor to the R 80 G/S.

Ergonomics. Absolutely essential.

Life for motorcyclists below or above today’s conventional standard size hasn’t exactly gotten easier in the last few years. Where the average seat height for a motorcycle in the Eighties was between 750 mm and 800 mm, today riders have to climb onto a seat with an average height of 800 mm to 850 mm. The standard R 1250 GS even allows riders to sit at the towering height of 870 mm. Even the lightest of all current BMW Enduros, the G 310 GS, brings a respectable 835 mm to the series trim.

Not long after the market launch, we are already offering high-quality components for the new R models: windscreens and hand guards to protect against wind, weather and troublesome turbulence, handlebar risers for relaxed sitting and driving while standing, ergonomic seats and footrest systems for a relaxed knee angle, and much more besides.

No matter whether you need an engine protection bar or a tank protection bar, engine and manifold protection, axle crash pads or our cooler protection, our equipment prevents serious and costly damage to your bike should the worst happen. The classic crafted with great attention to detail that is made exclusively for Wunderlich. The stylish »MAMMUT« side bag for the R nineT models has a volume of 9.5 litres and is made of durable, waxed cotton. The bags can be used on both the right and the left.
