The one-piece rear hugger comes with an integrated chain guard. The extended chain guard provides improved protection against spray and dirt. The carbon component gives your motorcycle a unique appearance and makes it stand out from the crowd.
High-quality carbon material
Ilmberger exclusively uses specially manufactured prepreg fabric, which is also used in Formula 1 and aerospace applications. The material is meticulously laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave. Thanks to its low density and high fibre volume content, it offers three times the specific stiffness of steel at a fraction of the weight.
Unique surface coating
As the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, Ilmberger applies a specially developed plastic coating to all surfaces. Combined with Ilmberger’s clear coat, this coating creates an unrivalled depth effect and highlights the material’s premium quality.

- All surfaces, both inside and outside, are sealed with a unique plastic coating to protect against environmental influences and provide an optimal base for the clear coat
- The final clear-coat layer on this component has a satin-matt finish, creating a perfectly smooth surface that further accentuates the luxurious, sporty appearance of our carbon components. Every component that leaves our production facility is a masterpiece of engineering and design that meets the highest standards.
