3. Prices / Shipping costs

All prices include the legally applicable VAT and total prices are given in Euros.

Additionally, the following shipping costs are payable for each order (standard delivery):

4. Payment methods / Due date

If paying by direct debit / credit card / PayPal, your account will be debited within 2-4 working days following the receipt of items and the invoice.

If the customer is a new customer, the purchase price is payable along with shipping costs prior to the goods being shipped.

6. Contract language / Contract text storage

The contract may be concluded in German and English.

We store the contract text and this may be retrieved following order completion if you have created an account with us by logging into this account. You can also print the contract text after sending and once the contract comes into effect, you will receive a contract confirmation that contains a copy of the contents of the contract..

 

7. Ordering (technical steps, order process)

An order is placed by following the steps outlined below in the online shop:

If you have found an item which you wish to purchase, add this to your virtual shopping cart by clicking the "Add to cart" button. You can view the contents of your cart at any time by clicking the "Go to cart" button. Clicking the "Remove" button - also pictured via the "rubbish basket" icon/symbol" - lets you remove a the products/a product from your cart at any time. To start the order process, click the "Go to checkout" button. Here you will be asked to enter your personal information and you will see the items in your cart listed once again. Here you can check again whether you'd like to order the items and also make any changes and corrections. These processes are not legally binding. Your order is only sent to us once you click the "Submit payable order/purchase" button and thereby commit to concluding a binding purchase contract with us.

We will immediately inform you electronically that your order has been received.

 

8. Conclusion of the contract

The depiction of our product range in the online shop, advertisements or our catalogue does not constitute a legally binding offer.

To the extent that you submit an order to us via telephone, fax, mail, email or in any other form, this constitutes the submission of a binding offer to us for the purchase of the listed products.

To the extent that we receive your order electronically, we will immediately confirm receipt of the order electronically.

A contract for the items you have ordered is concluded as soon as you receive an acceptance declaration / confirmation from us within the acceptance period, we accept your offer within this period via conclusive behaviour or you receive the ordered products within this period.

We assume the costs of return for a justified revocation.

10. Warranty (Information about defect liability)

You can use the parcel stamp supplied with the delivery package for this purpose, which allows you to return your parcel with DHL at no cost and use the way bill. If the purchaser is a company, salesperson or a legal person, Sec. 4 of our Ts&Cs applies.

 

11. Information about the Packaging Directive, Battery Act, Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act, Waste Oils Regulation, etc.

a) The vendor is a participant in the Dual System in Germany (DSD). The sales packaging delivered can be disposed of via the dual system, e.g. via public return points such as waste paper and glass containers or in the waste containers provided for this purpose depending on the material ("Yellow bag" and/or "Yellow/blue bin").

b) Battery or accumulators are in the scope of delivery for some items. Batteries or accumulators may also be permanently installed in some devices. The purchase is legally obligated as the end customer to return batteries and accumulators. They can return these after use to the point of sale, to a communal collection point or return them to us via mail for disposal. Batteries containing harmful materials are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out bin and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) for the particular heavy metal designated as harmful.

c) The following information applies for vehicle batteries: Operators who hand over vehicle batteries to end users are obligated to levy a deposit of 7.50 Euros including VAT for each battery if the end user does not return an old vehicle battery when purchasing a new vehicle battery. You can return old vehicle batteries to us free of charge. If purchasing a vehicle battery without returning an old vehicle batter, the customer will receive a deposit marker for the statutory deposit amount.

d) As of 13 August 2005, manufacturers are obligated to accept the return of old electronic devices in circulation at no cost. For all electrical and electronic devices brought into circulation after 23/11/2005, manufacturers are obligated to label items with the corresponding symbol (a crossed-out wheeled bin).

e) The German Waste Oils Regulation obligates us to accept the following used oils free of charge: Combustion engine oils, drive oils, oil filters and the oily residues regularly resulting from oil changes. You can return the waste oil to us in the amount corresponding to that which you purchased from us. You can leave the oils with us at any time during our opening times. Alternatively, you can also send the used oils to us, in which case you agree to bear the costs of shipment. Please note that special transport requirements may apply to the shipping of waste oils.

 

12. Information concerning taxes, duties

Switzerland and non-EU countries are exempt from the obligation to pay VAT in Germany.
