Wunderlich R 1200 R LC

We've drawn on our range to equip the R with our multi-adjustable brake and clutch levers, mounted our ERGO seat for rider and passenger, fitted various protection pads and brake covers, and last but not least, we've also kitted it out with some practical luggage solutions. On the tank sits the red-black "Elephant" tank bag kit, which perfectly matches the R design. The soft case bags as well as the "Combi Bag" seat and luggage rack bag can accommodate additional luggage. Even more space is made available thanks to our frame bags, which are available in a range of designs, as well as our handlebar bags, which also function as universal holders for smartphone navigation.

Indicator protection bars not only protect, but also look great. This same applies to our "Micro Flooter" auxiliary headlights, which offer a clear gain in active and passive safety.

Life for riders below or above today's conventional standard size hasn't exactly gotten easier in the last few years. Where the average seat height for a motorcycle in the Eighties was between 750 mm and 800 mm, today riders have to climb onto a seat with an average height of 800 mm to 850 mm. The standard R 1200 R enthrones its rider at 790 mm. Even the lightest of all current BMW Enduros, the G 310 GS, brings a respectable 835 mm to the series trim.

Not long after the market launch, we are already offering high-quality components for the new R model: Windshields and hand guards to protect against wind, weather and troublesome turbulence, handlebar risers for relaxed sitting and riding while standing, ergonomic seats with gel insert that you can ride on forever, a functional lowering kit for the seat, and much more besides.

No matter whether you need an engine protection bar or a tank protection bar, engine and manifold protection, axle protection pads or our cooler protection, our equipment prevents serious and costly damage to your bike should the worst happen. What's more, our high-quality protective components help to prevent damage to the engine or aggregates (e.g. on the exposed water pump), so that you can continue on your journey despite crashing. An important aspect – and not just for long-distance riders stranded in the desert...

Naturally, no travel damper should be without our side stand enlarger: the bike remains in a secure upright position even when fully loaded, whatever surface it's on and no matter the load.
