We manufacture our rider seats with a distinctive ergonomic 3D contour that allows rider and motorcycle to become one. The shape and angle of the elaborately constructed seat core support the pelvis in an ergonomically beneficial, natural position. Integrated into the motorcycle in this way, the rider can stay relaxed and therefore ride actively. There is no doubt that relaxed seating also provides an added measure of passive safety. This AKTIVKOMFORT seat features the latest ThermoPro technology, which keeps the seat surface up to 25°C cooler in direct midsummer sunlight than conventional cover materials. A matching passenger seat is also available.

We have coordinated the styling of this AKTIVKOMFORT seat with the BMW R 1300 GS Trophy. Sections of the seat side panel are upholstered in dynamic blue and white, creating a visual link to the wheels in the same colours.

AKTIVKOMFORT seat with adjustable Smart Plug & Play seat heating
Smart Plug & Play: This seat with comfort heating replaces the original seat. The original seat must also have been equipped with heating, and the motorcycle must have the corresponding power supply.
Before fitting the seat in the usual way, simply connect it to the motorcycle's electrical system. This is done using the matching pre-assembled Plug & Play cable.
The desired heat setting can be selected as usual via the relevant vehicle menu.

The AKTIVKOMFORT heating element consists of a robust fleece into which a fine yet exceptionally tensile-strength and resistant stainless-steel filament heating wire is integrated in numerous loops. Designed for durability and heavy use, this sophisticated construction provides even, optimally distributed warmth that feels particularly pleasant and noticeably increases seating comfort. It also provides the elasticity required for the heating element to remain flexible over time and compensate for the considerable movement, stretching and compression of the seat cushion when mounting and riding.

The following applies to all AKTIVKOMFORT seats:
The carefully engineered construction reliably prevents the padding from sagging and distributes pressure evenly over a larger area, significantly reducing localised pressure on the backside. Comfortable! The ergonomic shape of the special foam also relieves the pressure-sensitive coccyx. The seats provide perfect support and active, secure control during dynamic riding, especially under braking. Every rider knows the situation: when braking hard, the passenger suddenly pushes from behind, forcing the rider to brace while also having to steer, perhaps in a critical situation. Wunderlich's specially developed support contour makes such alarming moments under braking a thing of the past. The innovative ergonomic 3D contour also ensures that pressure points on the inner thighs when stopped at traffic lights are a thing of the past.
