The professional among the F models - the F 850 GS Adventure
The most professional among the F models is the BMW F 850 GS Adventure. Without a doubt. It's in the genes. After all, it shares them with the R 1250 GS Adventure. And that's clearly evident at first glance. The powerful, striking 23-litre front tank is unmissable, just like the side cladding. The two give the Adventure a look that leaves everyone in no doubt that they can get through thick and thin with this Enduro, even once around the globe if need be!
But it's not just the outer appearance, but also the "inner" values that make the Adventure what it is. The technical layout creates a balance riding behaviour. It comes as standard with disengageable ASC, which adapts the drive torque to the road situation. The system and the optimised "Road" and "Rain" driving modes ensure a high degree of active road safety. This is accentuated by the 21-inch cross-spoke front wheel, typical of the Enduro, which is held in place by an upside-down yoke. The spring deflections of 230 mm at the front and 215 mm at the rear ensure that everything stays calm, even on rough terrain.
There's also Pro mode which, with its "Dynamic" and "Enduro" options, gives the ABS Pro and dynamic traction control full rein. You couldn't wish for more! This also applies to the anti-hopping clutch which, by reducing the drag torque, tangibly minimises the danger of hopping of the rear wheel when switching down. Other equipment options: Connectivity in combination with the 6.5" TFT display and on-board PRO computer.

Our developers took the attractive BMW F 850 GS Adventure to heart immediately after its appearance and have already designed a wide range of components that will make its quality even better.
The Wunderlich core competencies

Ergonomics. Absolutely essential.
Doesn’t fit? Doesn’t exist!
Life for motorcyclists below or above today’s conventional standard size hasn’t exactly gotten easier in the last few years. Where the average seat height for a motorcycle in the Eighties was between 750 mm and 800 mm, today riders have to climb onto a seat with an average height of 800 mm to 850 mm. The standard F 850 GS even allows riders to sit at the towering height of 860 mm. Even the lightest of all current BMW Enduros, the G 310 GS, brings a respectable 835 mm to the series trim.
Not long after the market launch, we are already offering high-quality components for the new F models: windscreens and hand guards to protect against wind, weather and troublesome turbulence, handlebar risers for relaxed sitting and driving while standing, ergonomic seats and footrest systems for a relaxed knee angle, and much more besides.

All-round protection and safety.
If you’re one for riding your Enduro offroad, we offer excellent components to protect your GS. No matter whether you need an engine protection bar or a tank protection bar, engine and manifold protection, axle crash pads or our cooler protection, our equipment prevents serious and costly damage to your bike should the worst happen. What’s more, our high-quality protective components help to prevent damage to the engine or aggregates (e.g. on the exposed water pump), so that you can continue on your journey despite crashing. An important aspect – and not just for long-distance riders stranded in the desert.
Our side stand enlarger is naturally a must-have piece of equipment on every enduro: The bike remains in a secure upright position even when fully loaded, whatever surface it’s on.
