This product has been exclusively developed for the BMW R 1300 GS and is based on years of experience with the BMW GS series and their boxer engines. A silencer in dual-flow design made of lightweight titanium and a handmade carbon end cap contribute to a weight saving of 9.3% compared to standard equipment.

The silencer is designed for enhanced performance and improved sound dampening, to reduce environmental impact while producing a deep, full sound. A specially profiled surface of the silencer adds extra strength and durability, and features an engraved logo.

Performance and torque increase by 1.4 kW (1.9 HP) at 7,600 rpm and 4.5 Nm at 2,300 rpm. These values were determined on the Akrapovic test bench compared to a BMW R 1300 GS with standard exhaust system. The system is EC/ECE certified, and easy plug-and-play installation requires no mapping.

After installation, the system is fully compatible with BMW Motorrad panniers.
