Note for BMW K1600 and RT models
Two systems – one control element

Due to model-specific software and system requirements, certain BMW models require the use of the CGRC CAN module (#21101-020) to control the Chigee device with the original BMW Wonder Wheel. These include the K 1600 and RT series. The Chigee deliberately uses the existing BMW logic. This creates a particularly direct interaction without detours via separate controllers. On the K 1600 and RT models, this results in simultaneous scrolling of the TFT and Chigee displays. This requires some getting used to, but allows for a very compact and integrated control architecture.
Operation via the BMW Wonder Wheel keeps the handlebars uncluttered. The gain in comfort comes from dispensing with additional control units and the associated complexity of operation.
