My personal endurance test for PureRide took place in southern Spain. 40°C, eight days of motorcycling – and the instructions from materials developer Kelly Wagner couldn't have been simpler: “Try out the shirts.”
I was given two. For eight days.
To be honest, I initially thought that was quite ambitious. But the fabric was breathable, temperature-regulating and odour-resistant. A real advantage, especially on long journeys.
My conclusion was clear: If PureRide could convince me under these conditions, it deserved a place in the Wunderlich product range.”

After years working as a BMW Motorrad off-road instructor, she had grown tired of wearing polyester functional underwear and began successfully developing functional underwear and clothing specifically for motorcyclists.
Wunderlich has secured Kelly Wagner as a cooperation partner for the production of the Wunderlich PureRide Collection.

As a certified BMW Motorrad off-road instructor and while helping to establish Enduropark Andalusia, I kept encountering the same problem: there was no functional underwear that truly performed, felt comfortable to wear and looked good.
I was wearing polyester shirts myself – freshly showered, without having exerted myself, yet I could already smell my own body odour. Merino wool wasn't an option for me because of my sensitivity to wool.
The market was there. The product wasn't.
So I began searching for a better solution myself. I tested fabrics, developed the first prototypes and eventually discovered a combination of bamboo lyocell and chitosan.
The result convinced me: extremely lightweight, gentle on the skin, odour-resistant and still comfortable to wear even after days of off-road riding.
That's how the HERE brand was born from my own experience as a motorcyclist.

PureRide supports the body's natural temperature regulation: in warm conditions, the breathable fabric structure, combined with well-ventilated motorcycle clothing, promotes sweat evaporation and the resulting cooling effect. In cold conditions, keeping the skin dry reduces heat loss. With 95% natural fibres, these properties are combined with natural wearing comfort. Chitosan helps neutralise odours, while the fabric dries quickly – ideal for motorcycling and travelling. The seams lie flat and do not cause pressure points, even under close-fitting protective motorcycle clothing.
