Performance Concentrated
The Wunderlich R 1300 S SPRINT
Wunderlich components stand out for their quality, design and functionality. The creative mind behind Wunderlich design has been a motorcycle-mad Frenchman for almost two decades. He is just as skilled with a sketch pen as he is with his design board β and in our prototyping department, he expertly transforms design clay into models, construction cardboard into templates and modelling rods into three-dimensional structures. This is how perfectly integrated components are created with an impeccable sense of style, experience and close collaboration with our developers, such as our engine and tank protection bars, protectors, seat designs and much more.
The same applies to our concept motorcycles. And our latest concept motorcycle, the Wunderlich R 1300 S SPRINT, is no exception.
Β And yet, this time things are different.
The Design
When developing accessories that are intended to integrate seamlessly with a particular motorcycle, the design language of that motorcycle plays a significant role.
With his original vision for the Wunderlich R 1300 S SPRINT, Nicolas Petit has deliberately created a counterpoint to the aggressive styling of today's sports motorcycles β while also fulfilling a long-held dream. The SPRINT's design embodies a sporting character rooted in engineering β inspired by the distinctive racing aesthetic that only powerful endurance racing machines can convey.
Clean lines, balanced proportions and a striking silhouette give it an unmistakable character. The organic design combines sporting elegance with carefully considered aerodynamics. At the same time, the engineering remains visible: the boxer engine, frame and suspension are integral elements of the design. The minimalist half fairing brings form and function together without concealing the motorcycle's technical foundations. The result is a motorcycle that looks sporty, powerful and technically sophisticated without appearing excessively aggressive.
Distinctive technical details create their own accents: they shape the motorcycle's appearance and underline the philosophy behind this concept β not to conceal the engineering, but to deliberately incorporate it into the design.
The R 1300 S SPRINT has an authentic presence. Its strength lies in the clarity of its lines, its balanced proportions and its distinctive character. The Wunderlich R 1300 S SPRINT: sporty, technically refined and unmistakable. An emotive design with character that does not need to shout to leave a lasting impression.
βLess is not less in this case,β says Nicolas Petit. βIt is a conscious decision to focus the design on what truly matters β and that is precisely what makes it so compelling.β
