The special seat cover reflects approximately 70% of the sun's thermal radiation, preventing the seat from overheating. Its surface temperature can be up to 25°C lower than that of

Wunderlich's unique passenger seat offers the high standard of today's premium rider's seats in terms of ergonomics, cushioning characteristics and, above all, size. The carefully designed seat cover, elaborate stitching and skilled craftsmanship of the upholsterers create an appearance that integrates beautifully into the design of the BMW R 1300 GS – despite the generous 70 mm increase in seat width compared with the standard version. At the same time, the significantly enlarged seating surface reduces pressure, resulting in noticeably greater comfort.

In terms of construction, Wunderlich uses an adhesive bonding technology to join the seat cover and the 3D-shaped seat core. This prevents any relative movement between the seat cover and the seat core while riding.

The Wunderlich backrest provides greater comfort on long journeys while also concealing the opening in the passenger seat of the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure.
This Wunderlich backrest for the original BMW rider's seat attaches to the original passenger seat. It relieves pressure on the sacrum, which connects the lumbar spine to the pelvis, while its more upright angle improves contact with the rear of the rider's seat.
