Hand craftsmanship and precision

The carbon components are laminated by hand with extensive experience and care, ensuring consistent fibre alignment without distortion. After curing in the autoclave, the edges of the components are precisely trimmed by robot to guarantee perfect fit and the highest quality.

Unique plastic powder coating

A globally unique step in Ilmberger’s production process is the complete plastic powder coating of all carbon components. This coating protects the parts against environmental influences and gives them an unrivalled depth effect. No other carbon manufacturer offers this type of sealing, which prevents ageing and significantly extends the service life of the components. The final clear coat is high-gloss and ensures a perfectly smooth surface that underlines the luxurious, sporty appearance of the carbon parts.
