This Wunderlich ULTIMATE PRO Engine Protection Bar is specifically designed for adventure riding.

It reliably protects not only the cylinders and valve covers but also both lambda sensors. The comprehensive protection concept increases passive safety and thus the joy of riding. In the event of a fall or accident, the forces acting are optimally distributed over the protection bar structure to the load-bearing mounting points, so that peak forces and moments are avoided and material stress is effectively reduced. Compared to the ULTIMATE Engine Protection Bar, the ULTIMATE PRO features an additional filler plate that further enhances the protective effect.

The additional, four-times welded PROtection plate of the PRO version made of stainless steel has a solid (and conspicuous) component thickness of three millimeters. It has cutouts, stiffens the tube structure of the engine protection bar, and simultaneously extends the immediate protection for the cylinder head and valve cover. Cutouts not only emphasize the tool design in the adventure look, but they also allow water to drain directly after water crossings.

The engine protection bar structure is made of 25-millimeter precision stainless steel tubing. The tube segments are formed on CNC tube bending machines and then cleanly welded. Visually, the protection bar integrates into the design of the motorcycle and fits into the distinctive appearance.

Wunderlich DOUBLESHOCK drive protection pad

In the event that the motorcycle falls or crashes, the axle protection pads ensure that the swing arm, the wheel axle and the drive end drive are effectively protected against damage.

The protective pads distance these components during bouncing or sliding contact with the floor or road and thus reduce or avoid costly damage to the motorcycle. In addition to the choice of material, we have also integrated two significant, specific properties into the construction and tested these in racing, these being the damping and abrasion resistance that significantly increases in the slide phase.

The damping: The first positive feature we should mention is the damping, which can partially or fully capture and absorb part of the impact energy where impacting forces occur.

Abrasion resistance: The second positive characteristic is the abrasion resistance, which owing the component geometry increases from the outside in due to the enlargement of the effective slide area. This means that our axle protection pad only offers a low level of frictional resistance on light contact, but shortens the time and area of the grinding phase, such as when grinding along the road surface for a longer period. This means that in a crash with the axle protection pad, the time in which the motorcycle slides and the slide path itself are both reduced.

For the optimum protection of your machine, we recommend the combination of our axle protection pads with our vehicle-specific protection bar systems, for which we offer additional protection pads separately.

The radiator is positioned aerodynamically correctly, optimally in the airstream. However, this exposes the finely ribbed cooling network to impacts from gravel, insects, and other debris. The ABS sensor for the front wheel sits very exposed and unprotected between the radial brake caliper and axle of the front wheel. It is a sensitive component that together with the ABS rim and ABS controller prevents the front wheel brake from being blocked and the rider from losing control of the motorcycle. Wunderlich Handlebar Riser ERGO PRO 40 mm – Offroad dynamic – Onroad relaxed

The handlebar riser, specially designed by our developers, raises the handlebar moderately by 40 mm. The ergonomic effects are considerable, as they have a relaxing effect on the entire back muscles and arms and at the same time relieve the spine, pelvis and tailbone. This improves touring suitability and comfort enormously. And relaxed riding also provides a plus in passive safety, just like the better overview of the traffic situation that results from the more upright seating position.

Vehicle rear-view mirrors only really make sense if you can see something in them. If you’re wearing a thick jacket you can see everything - except the traffic behind you. We have sorted this problem out and can put your mirror in the right position.

Over decades lot of solutions to this problem have been developed. What we do is to offset the mirror so that it is simultaneously further out andfurther forward, a simple, very effective but still nice looking solution!

The precision machined extension pieces are nicely integrated into the design of the bike and allow much better visibility to the rear and increased safety for the rider.

An open knee angle provides noticeably more comfort when riding. This simultaneously reduces the mechanical load on the knee joints and the constriction of the blood vessels in the hollows of the knees.

With our footrests, the feet rest significantly lower by 25 mm, the knee angle opens up and is enlarged, which leads to a thoroughly relaxed and comfortable sitting position. This makes it possible to reduce the painful and tortuous effects associated with a tight knee angle, among other things, and normally avoid these altogether.

With our sophisticated construction we achieve noticeable, ergonomically effective lowering without considerably extending the base of the rest - and thus the footrest - outwards. A measure that actually adds to your comfort. At the same time, the angle clearance is retained to a high degree.
