With an innovative exhaust concept, REMUS presents itself boldly on the BMW K 1600 Bagger / Grand America. The original idea behind the REMUS Quad Exhaust design was to create a look similar to the REMUS sports exhaust system for the BMW F80 M3/F82 M4. The horizontal quad styling is characterised by elegance and sporty dynamics, paired with the rich REMUS sound known since the 1990s.
Throughout the R&D process, the REMUS team maintained close contact with the BMW community to respond directly to customer requests. This customer-focused approach led to an exhaust system designed in line with future riders' expectations.
The REMUS Custom Quad Exhaust system is crafted from high-quality stainless steel and finished with a black high-temperature coating, creating a bold contrast to the standard chrome look. The design goal was to offer a sportily dynamic appearance that integrates perfectly with the motorcycle’s aerodynamic silhouette. The REMUS system gives the Bagger its signature deep REMUS sound, which becomes a powerful roar at higher revs. Building on the success of REMUS sport exhausts for the BMW K1600GT and GTL series, the sound has been finely tuned to suit the preferences of the target audience.
