• AKTIVKOMFORT seat with Smart Plug & Play comfort seat heating for the pillion passenger
• Before fitting the seat in the usual way, all that is required is to connect it to the motorcycle's electrical system. This is done via Plug & Play
• The desired heating level (Off, Level 1, Level 2) can be adjusted as usual using an easily accessible switch located on the right-hand side of the seat in the direction of travel
• The rider is notified via the onboard display when the pillion seat heating element is switched on

We manufacture our pillion seats with a distinctive, ergonomic 3D contour. The shape and angle of the carefully crafted seat core support an ergonomically beneficial, natural pelvic position. A special feature of our pillion seat is the integrated support contour at the front of the seat, which provides additional secure support when braking. Perfectly integrated into the motorcycle, the seat enables relaxed yet dynamic riding. And there is no doubt that a relaxed seating position makes an important contribution to active safety. This AKTIVKOMFORT seat features the latest ThermoPro technology, which can keep the seat surface temperature up to 25°C lower in direct sunlight during the height of summer compared to conventional seat cover materials.

AKTIVKOMFORT seat with adjustable Smart Plug & Play seat heating
Smart Plug & Play: This seat with comfort heating replaces the original seat. The prerequisite is that the original seat is also equipped with seat heating and that the motorcycle has the appropriate power supply.
Before fitting the seat in the usual way, all that is required is to connect it to the motorcycle's electrical system. This is done using the matching, pre-assembled Plug & Play cable!
The desired heating level (Off, Level 1, Level 2) can be adjusted as usual using an easily accessible switch located on the right-hand side of the seat in the direction of travel. The rider is notified via the onboard menu when the pillion seat heating element is switched on.

The AKTIVKOMFORT seat heating element consists of a robust fleece into which a fine yet exceptionally high-tensile, durable heating wire made from stainless steel filament is integrated in numerous loops. This sophisticated construction, designed for durability and long service life, ensures even, optimally distributed warmth that feels particularly pleasant and noticeably enhances seating comfort. It also provides the flexibility required for the heating element to withstand the considerable stresses caused by movement, stretching and compression of the seat padding when mounting the motorcycle and riding, while maintaining its elasticity over time.

Because riders and pillion passengers have different requirements, BMW specialist Wunderlich manufactures its AKTIVKOMFORT seats with contours specifically designed for each. The rider and pillion seat contours differ in detail to meet their respective requirements. However, both share the same fundamental features: the proven, distinctive ergonomic 3D contour, together with the shape and angle of the carefully crafted seat core, supports an ergonomically beneficial, natural pelvic position. 

All Wunderlich AKTIVKOMFORT seats share the following features
The sophisticated construction reliably prevents the padding from becoming compressed over time. Seat pressure is distributed evenly over a larger area, noticeably reducing pressure on individual areas of your backside. What a relief! The ergonomic shape of the special foam also relieves pressure on the sensitive coccyx.
These seats provide excellent support and active, safe control during spirited riding, particularly when braking: Every rider knows the situation when a pillion passenger suddenly slides forwards under heavy braking, pushing against the rider, who then has to brace themselves while simultaneously steering – potentially in a critical situation. Thanks to Wunderlich's specially developed support contour, these alarming moments under braking are a thing of the past. The innovative ergonomic 3D contour also ensures that uncomfortable pressure points on the inner thighs when stopped at traffic lights are a thing of the past.
