Developed with ergonomics in mind, this footrest relocation kit for the BMW R 1200 RT provides a relaxed and comfortable seating position, even on longer journeys, without causing postural strain.
To achieve the optimum foot position, this footrest lowering kit is elaborately CNC-machined from solid aluminium. Long-distance comfort is noticeably improved, as the reduced knee angle promotes circulation and helps prevent painful cramping. This creates a considerably more comfortable connection between rider and motorcycle and also makes it much easier to steer the bike through bends.
We have precisely matched the contour to the original footrest bracket, while the minimal outward offset ensures the best possible ground clearance when leaning. The one-piece composite construction is capable of withstanding even the highest loads and far exceeds all stability requirements.
All necessary mounting parts are included in the scope of delivery. No modifications to the original bracket are required and no functions are impaired.
