X-RACK light DirectLock – case carrier mounted close to the centre of gravity for perfect handling and a slim silhouette
The X-RACK light DirectLock luggage mount is designed, for example, to accommodate the X-BAG soft luggage bags or the X-CASE X30 Carbon vario cases. Without the bags, the L-shaped carrier blends discreetly, almost hidden, into the bike’s side line. With the X-BAGs mounted, it remains completely hidden.
The original Adventure case carrier is required for fitting the X-RACK light DirectLock luggage mount, as the X-RACK light DirectLock is attached to it. The Adventure case carrier is part of the Touring Package, but can also be selected as an option.
The 20 mm precision steel tube and the 3-point attachment ensure reliable stability – even when the full permitted payload is used. In the design of the carrier, the focus was not only on component rigidity but also on optimised net weight. With the X-RACK light, the X-System luggage sits snugly against the motorcycle and close to the centre of gravity. This perfects the handling, optimises riding safety and creates a slim silhouette – an undeniable advantage in cities, on ferries or in your home garage – ultimately wherever tight manoeuvring is required. This also minimises the frontal exposure to riding wind for the soft bags.
