Facts and Product Features of Wunderlich Suspension powered by TracTive eS2 PRO Shock Absorbers

The eS2 shock absorber line is an integrated, modular retrofit solution. Except for the standard Electric Preload Adjustment (EPA), all other components are replaced with TracTive high-performance components.

For extreme use: The PRO version. Extra-reinforced, integrated, adaptive, electronically controlled high-performance shock absorber of the latest generation as an upgrade or replacement for the stock suspension. Designed for the highest demands of ambitious adventure and touring riders, as well as riders who desire extra safety reserves.

The exceptional performance of this shock absorber is convincing. It can be connected electronically to the motorcycle via plug & play without further adjustments. The desired riding mode can be selected and set conveniently using the handlebar controls.

We select the spring rate of the shock absorber based on your personal riding profile specifications.

  • Damping Characteristics
  • Our shock absorbers are specifically developed for each vehicle and application, offering high performance and impressive reserves
  • The balanced, sensitive damping behavior of our suspension components ensures a neutral, predictable handling, and supports confidence in your own motorcycle, enhancing personal riding enjoyment
  • The shock absorbers excel at providing excellent feedback, improving tire-road interaction, wheel control, and track accuracy, while reducing tire wear
  • The shock absorber is equipped with the patented TracTive DDA (Dynamic Damping Adjustment) damping valve, which stands out with its convincing damping dynamics and impressive performance, taking responsiveness to a whole new level
    • The DDA damping valve is completely compatible with the motorcycle's control unit and processes its control signals
    • Compared to the stock suspension, the DDA valve has a larger adjustment range and regulates significantly faster, in 6-10 milliseconds
  • Individual damping adjustment: The high-quality shock absorber features high and low-speed compression damping adjustment, allowing you to adjust compression damping based on the speed of the compression stroke (i.e., the speed at which the damping piston moves during the stroke)
  • The DDA damping valve, along with extensive options for individual adjustment of compression damping, meets the highest demands of adventure and touring riders. They significantly enhance comfort and safety and can help reduce frame stress
  • To achieve optimal, sensitive responsiveness,
    • the oil channels are generously sized to minimize oil flow resistance
    • we use pistons with a large diameter (46 mm)
    • as well as low-friction seals and special shim stacks
  • These sealed shock absorbers feature an external forged aluminum reservoir, supporting thermal stability performance through optimal heat dissipation
  • The generous oil volume and large cooling surface
    • ensure a low, optimal oil operating temperature,
    • resulting not only in stable performance at the highest level,
    • but also in extended shock absorber and oil life
  • Spring Characteristics and Preload
  • Integrated standard Electric Preload Adjustment (EPA): Except for the standard Electric Preload Adjustment (EPA) of your motorcycle, all other components are replaced with TracTive high-performance components
  • The operation of the standard EPA remains unchanged
  • PRO
  • The PRO shock absorbers are the best shock absorbers for extreme use. They are even more robustly constructed, and their responsiveness is optimized due to the selected components and low-friction seals. The following features distinguish the PRO shock absorbers:
    • Shock absorber body made of steel
    • Stainless steel bearing bushes
    • Special low-friction seals with additional backup ring
  • Tuning
  • Special Wunderlich Suspension tuning for adventure and touring riders with high demands on their suspension
  • Customization
  • We select the spring rate based on your personal riding profile specifications: After choosing your shock absorber, simply determine your personal specifications during the order process – they serve as the basis for selecting the right spring for you
  • Maintenance
  • Each shock absorber can be professionally serviced at the Wunderlich Suspension Center
  • The suspension tool is included in the scope of delivery
