For a better rear view: our mirror extension
For an unobstructed view in the rear-view mirrors, we recommend using our mirror extension (#15120-002). Our mirror extension moves both fairing-mounted mirrors approximately 50 mm outwards using carefully integrated spacer elements and significantly increases the rearward field of vision in the original mirrors.

Note on scope of delivery

• The handlebar mounts for the fork bridge are included in the scope of delivery
• The handlebar is pre-drilled for easy installation of the handlebar controls
• Includes adapters for fitting the original bar ends
• We also supply the matching adapter (#31002) for extending the clutch line. The original brake line can be used without modification
• The special screws for mounting the original navigation device can continue to be used after the handlebar conversion.

Recommendation
For an unobstructed view in the rear-view mirrors, we recommend using our mirror extension (#15120-002). It moves both fairing-mounted mirrors approximately 82 mm outwards using carefully integrated spacer elements and greatly improves the view in the mirrors.

This tubular handlebar conversion replaces the original clip-on handlebars of the BMW R 1300 RS and noticeably changes its character, transforming it into an ergonomically comfortable sports tourer. The more upright riding position combined with the individually adjustable tubular handlebar allows ergonomic adaptation to personal requirements. This noticeably relieves strain on the wrists, shoulders, neck, back and pelvis. It supports a relaxed riding style, helps prevent fatigue and significantly increases long-distance comfort on long day stages.

At the same time, the tubular handlebar improves handling. It provides excellent feedback and makes the motorcycle noticeably easier and more controlled to manoeuvre, particularly at low speeds, in tight hairpin bends, when manoeuvring or when riding with luggage. The improved visibility, easier handling and reduced fatigue also contribute to increased active safety.

The high-quality, bead-blasted precision tubular handlebar made of high-strength aluminium impresses with its premium finish. The surface texture and colour are perfectly matched to the fork bridge and handlebar mounts.

The scope of delivery includes the complete mounting kit including handlebar mounts, pre-drilled handlebar, adapters for the original bar ends and adapter (#31002) for extending the clutch line. The original brake line and the special screws for the original navigation device are reused. The conversion comes with ABE.
