• The conclusion right from the start: This tubular handlebar conversion noticeably changes the character of the BMW R 1300 RS towards that of an ergonomically comfortable sport tourer. It impresses with long-distance comfort, allowing rides lasting several hours or very long day stages to be completed significantly more comfortably than with the sport-oriented original clip-on handlebars.
  The optimised handlebar ergonomics raise the handlebar by 50 millimetres and move it 25 millimetres closer to the rider. This improves feedback and handling – especially at low speeds, when manoeuvring, in tight hairpins and when riding with luggage – and provides a better overview.

This tubular handlebar conversion replaces the original clip-on handlebars of the BMW R 1300 RS and noticeably changes its character towards that of an ergonomically comfortable sport tourer. The optimised handlebar ergonomics, which raise the handlebar by 50 millimetres and move it 25 millimetres closer to the rider, improve feedback and handling while providing a better overview of the traffic situation.

At the same time, the tubular handlebar improves handling. It provides excellent feedback and makes the bike noticeably easier and more controlled to manoeuvre, especially at low speeds, in tight hairpins, when manoeuvring or when carrying luggage. The better visibility, easier handling and reduced fatigue also contribute to increased active safety.

The high-quality, bead-blasted precision tubular handlebar made of high-strength aluminium impresses with its premium finish. Surface texture and colour are perfectly matched to the fork bridge and handlebar mounts.

The scope of delivery includes the complete mounting kit including handlebar mounts, pre-drilled handlebar, adapters for the original bar ends and adapter (#31002) for extending the clutch line. The original brake line continues to be used. The conversion comes with ABE approval.
